What are the chances some idiot would decide to cross the road in front of you? You wouldn’t be able to stop or can they hear you coming at that speed? That is an EXTREME sport.
Based on our experiences yesterday, those odds are about one in three.
If you listen to the video, you’ll hear Jamison and me rapping our slide pucks on our palms together. The clacking is a loud and obvious sound, and most people hear and get out of the way. Even without the rapping / clacking, the sound of an oncoming longboard is only missed by those not listening.
Most pedestrians can be dodged and for those that can’t, it’s still possible to stop.
