Rock Creek Trail Park Bridge

Another beautiful day in Hillsboro! I took a bike ride,1Only 22 miles more until 2,000 miles on the bike this year. exploring the Rock Creek area north of Highway 26. On the way back, I traveled the same trails as last week. I aimed the camera in the opposite direction to capture the sun peering between the trees, and then went crazy2I’m getting more comfortable modifying the pictures from the original. with Google+’s photo editor to make it look a little like watercolor. I hope you like it.

How was your day?

Have personally been using the iPhoto help on my Mac. Must take a lesson on Google+ photo editor. Your biking trail photos are very lovely. Looks very peaceful and quiet. Just what we all need somewhere in our lives.

I have been using Picasa to organize my photos on my PC. It has really basic photo editing capabilities, plus a few filters.

When I use my Android phone, it automatically backs up my photos I take with it to Google+ photos. The automatic enhancing is kinda cool and can be controlled. It has a bunch of other capabilities, as well.

I knew I wanted more extensive photo editing capabilities than Picasa offers for this pictures, so I uploaded it to Google+ photos. There were some quirks, but I think I still like it better than Picasa.

There is the extra step to upload the photos to Google+, but a WiFi SD card might include that as an automatic feature.

Biking is a pleasant diversion for me. Photography allows me to record it for myself and share it with others. Win!
