I just started reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Near the beginning, she mentions research that suggests we have a “set point” for happiness: regardless of events, those who are happiest now will be happiest ten years from now. I think this bodes well for me.
Because I’m also curious, I did a little research and found:
