At the end of every year, I review the pictures I’ve posted here and choose my favorites.
The pics are in chronological order — this was my year.
Here’s my favorite animation from the year.
Do you have a favorite?
The pics are from the following posts:
On a recent evening flight home, I sat over a 737’s wing. It was time to take some more pictures.
Maybe not quite as cool an angle as a row or two farther back, but it still has a very organic feel.
Whenever I fly, I get a window seat. Sometimes, it’s over the wing.1 Regardless, there’s always a beautiful view. This time, it was a sunset peeking out from behind the winglet.
Arranged in no particular order, are my seventeen favorite photos I made in 2014.
In fact, they are arranged in random order. Refresh the page to see another order. Have fun! Do it again and again. ;-)
Last year, I was able to limit myself to my 10 favorite photos. This year, I couldn’t make the cut.
Flying to Sacramento Wednesday morning, I sat in the back of the bus, seat 20A.
These are just some of the sights from my trip home this evening.
Headed home from Southern California, I made sure to get window seats for both legs of the trip. Being in group B ensured I sat behind the wing and in the wake of the jet engine. Still, I enjoy getting the bird’s eye view of the landscape.
A few shots out the window flying to Folsom this morning.
Headed home from Folsom, I chose the last seat on the left side of the plane, hoping to repeat a shot I took more than a year ago.
It’s interesting how the different cameras show the same view. I shot this one with my Samsung Galaxy S5, last year’s most likely with a Canon PowerShot S100.
A few shots from the past week or so.
