With the family gone for the evening, it was a good time to pull out my camera, a tripod, and a work light.
Live-Action SMF Shot
I showed up early for my flight home tonight and the flight was delayed. Balance in the universe is maintained.
What are the odds that I would find someone I know in the SMF airport? You’re right — zero. But it didn’t stop me from trying.
In my search, I walked by a shop selling GoPro Hero cameras. It inspired me to live an action-filled life worthy of an “activity image capture” camera. Hence, the shot above.
Finally, a pro-tip for you: when taking self-portraits in an airport, it’s probably best to cover the flashing indicator that suggests a countdown timer. Just sayin’…1No, I didn’t get to meet the TSA, but as I was sitting at the end of terminal B with my camera propped on the window sill facing the length of the terminal and blinking like crazy, I was wondering how long before I was tackled to the ground and hauled away. For all subsequent selfies, I put the camera a little lower and angled away from other people. No tackles!
I hope your evening has been as
action-filledrelaxing as mine.- 1No, I didn’t get to meet the TSA, but as I was sitting at the end of terminal B with my camera propped on the window sill facing the length of the terminal and blinking like crazy, I was wondering how long before I was tackled to the ground and hauled away. A View of 15D/E
Traveling home in the evening with Missy for a long weekend, it was too dark for a picture out the window. So I turned the camera around. :-)
