The sun in my eyes on my daily commute.
Carrying a camera with me most of the time, I take a lot of pictures. I take pictures during my bicycle commute. I take pictures when I fly. I even take pictures while I wait for my flight. And I post a bunch of them.
Of the pictures I took and posted in 2013, these are nine of my favorite.
Finally, I include my favorite animated GIF from the year.
That makes an even ten. Do you have a favorite? Did I miss your favorite?
The Canada geese and mallard ducks are having a “float in” at a Dawson Creek pond. Their demands are not yet clear.
21 degrees this morning and I’m staying warm.
60 42 miles to 2,000 miles on the bike this year. I should easily ride that before the end of November, with another month yet to go in the year.
Today was another chilly, sub-freezing morning, though the picture I snapped on the way to work could pass for early spring.1
I dressed for bicycling in the cold: rain pants over long pants, rain jacket over long sleeved T-shirt and long sleeved pullover, Gore-Tex helmet liner, headband over nose and mouth, full-finger gloves, and sunglasses. Amazingly, I did not overheat. Instead, my feet got cold. If this weather continues, I think I’ll try a couple of pairs of socks.
