I spent Wednesday through Friday in Folsom with my team. Flying home on the “nerd bird,”1That’s a term of endearment for the Intel shuttle. Great planes with clean windows — love it! I caught the setting sun.
When I got to the airport and checked in, I discovered I was once again in seat 3E. It’s not a bad seat,1In fact, Alaska/Horizon reserves seat 3E for MVPs and MVP Golds, their designations for frequent fliers. Yup, I’m an MVP. but it would be on the east side on my evening flight home from SMF to PDX. I was hoping to get a view of the sunset during the flight.
With a few kiosk button pushes, I got seat 2A.
It’s nice to be home. :-)
