    Morning, Brent.

I like your poem… we try not to listen to the news because we get Old Blunderbuss up here too. And it is dismaying.

Love Jamison’s selfie. Are you and Suzi going to visit him while he is there? You both would love, love, love the ocean and atoll and the warm air. It is quite heavenly. But even though I haven’t been there for over 35 years I do think you would like it.

Fond greetings to Suzi too. I remember those first years of empty nest.

Thanks! I must confess, DJT “wrote” two-thirds of the poem with me just doing some editing. ;-)

I think David Sipress’ “My desire to be well-informed is currently at odds with my desire to remain sane” cartoon describes the situation perfectly for me.

We continue to be amazed by how many of our family and friends have been to Majuro. We don’t yet have plans to visit, though that may change. It would be a lot of fun to see him “in his natural environment.”

The empty nest is a new sensation for Suzi and me. We alternate between looking at websites with puppies and remembering how hard the first year(s) can be. So far, we’ve been able to get our dog fix by watching our “grand dogs.”

Thanks for dropping by and commenting!
