Beginning my third gallon of blood, I started a new donor card.
I decided it was time to try something different. Instead of following my Wimp’s Guide to Giving Blood, I sat up like everyone else and even looked at my arm after1No, I didn’t watch them put the needle in. I was being brave, not masochistic. the needle was in.
Woo hoo! I didn’t feel faint. Maybe this is my new normal.2After 16 donations, maybe my fear of needles is starting to decrease. :-)
How can I encourage you to join me next time?
