[I]f you have psychopathic tendencies and are born…

[I]f you have psychopathic tendencies and are born to a poor family you’re likely to go to prison. If you have psychopathic tendencies and are born to a rich family you’re likely to go to business school.

George Monbiot

You might not think you’re in the 99%. That’s okay. Read George Monbiot’s The Self-Attribution Fallacy for one perspective on the 1%.

Agree or disagree?

Very entertaining and good food for thought. Bluff, bullshit and bullying…hmmm. I tend to agree with the man more than disagree. I don’t hold with anyone making excuses for themselves to explain where they are at but if you have been part of the business world you know the author here has some valid points.

But then I am not a good one to ask…I believe in the Sermon on the Mount.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” Matt. 5:5. It doesn’t match what we’re seeing, does it? But I imagine it was well received by an oppressed, poor people. How would the 99% respond?

Years ago I heard someone say that the Sermon on the Mount was Jesus’ political statement and I said, yes, aha, but today it is so clear to me. So awesome to see what is happening.

Yeah, the more I read the gospels, the more political they become.

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. —Matt. 6:19-21 (NIV)
