1. Years ago when we travelled in England we noticed brewery trucks with “Courage” written on them. Some get up their courage with a stiff drink. I have found when I am feeling uncertain I just need to decide I can do it and then verbalize my intention and the courage comes. Every day the Lord gives us the strength we need to do what we need to do and the wisdom to know how to do it. I think those of us who believe in prayer have an advantage.

Two favourite Bible promises are: “I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all you do acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” Prov. 3:5, 6

I prefer to get my courage from above, not from a bottle.
