I have a high school friend trying to build one of these in Arizona, but he told me; “You need to do it overseas. The liability laws are just too tough in the US.” Once again, the lawyers are making sure we don’t have any fun! . Yeah, those danged lawyers. ;) I’m sure the preservationists would cringe at this, but wouldn’t it be fun to have one from the rim to the bottom of the Grand Canyon? I’m sure there are a lot of dams that would serve as great starting points, too. For that matter, the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas would be awesome!
